Cole smiled and closed the door for Angelique. He got in on the diver's side and started the truck.

Angelique smiled and buckled up. 'So, it will always be me...' She thought.

Cole started driving back to his house.

Angelique stared out of the window, still smiling, though it lacked feeling.

Cole drove back to his house and parked the truck.

Angelique unbuckled and hopped out of the truck, her skirt shifting as she pulled it back down, a bit embarrassed.

As soon as Cole opened the door, Sprocket ran out to greet them.

Angelique giggled as she kneeled down to be Sprocket's height. 'I swear, the dog shows me more affection!' She thought.

Cole petted Sprocket's head.

Angelique hugged Sprocket gently, smiling and kissing his head.

Cole walked into the house with Sprocket following him.

Angelique stood and followed, closing the door behind her.

Cole sat down with Sprocket on his couch.

Angelique sat beside Cole, smiling and leaning into him.

Cole put his arm around Angelique and smiled.
