Carilise was only here because she was forced to. She hated every single bit of it, and she despised the other two people that had to come along. "I could do this all alone, without their help." she muttered, looking at the shackles that were still around her hands and ankles.

Owen looked out the back of the carriage. "its a long way a ways" he said

Hotaru remained silent. She hadn't uttered a single word. She liked when others thought her to be mute. It saved her trouble.

Owen looked at Hotaru and Carilise. "so what brings you both to Avalon" he said trying to make acquaintances with them

Carilise looked up at Owen, and she had a glint of hatred in her eyes. "I think you already know the answer to that." she said, shaking the chains that bound her feet and her hands.

".... Exorcism." Hotaru said softly, her voice like silk. She glanced at the others, crossing her arms

"I am here because the church hired me, saying that there is a haritic calling himself a god, so they want me to swing my sword around, maybe kill a false god or two" he said

Hotaru sighed and looked out again, becoming mute once more as she lose her eyes.

Carilise looked at the others and let out a mocking laugh. These people were pathetic. They would never make it. Hopefully, she could ditch this mission and go back to her home town.

Carilise looked at the area outside. They had to be getting close. She felt it.
