"A friend wouldn't put your life in danger!" Rayne protested, looking up at him.

"... It's best that I leave... I don't want to endanger you anymore..." Rayne shakily stood, tears rolling down her cheeks as she walked to the room of clothes to grab the ones she arrived in.

He looked at her walking away before he changed to his dragon form and dived underwater and he stayed at the bottom of the lake

Rayne changed and sighed, sniffling as she slid on her coat. Where would she go...? She didn't have the money to go back... she'd have to make do on the streets... She wrote a simple note and placed it on the book she was reading before walking out, making her way back to the town.

Archaios curled around the world stone, crying

Rayne gripped her coat tighter around herself as she made it to an alley way, sitting against a wall.

Archaios looked at the world stone and then he went in to the water

Rayne closed her eyes as she cried silently, earning stares.

Archaios stayed in the water, swimming around the buble

Rayne slowly fell into a restless sleep, curled up tightly.

Archaios closed his eyes and fell asleep in the water

Rayne woke a while later and looked around. She was.... in a cage...? "Where am I...?"The man from before stepped foward, chuckling. "So, you've awoken, Rayne." He chuckled darkly, making Rayne tremble.

Archaios floted in the water but stayed asleep

"Now then, I have a crew by that cave. We're ready to kill the guardian. However, if you fetch me the stone, we'll spare him." He smirked as Rayne's eyes widened in horror. "A-Archaios..." she whispered before slowly nodding.
