Snow kept howling her mating call.

then she smell a far off wolf...

Shadowclaw was still asleep, when he heard the call. Unfortunately it was disturbing him.

Snow stopped. She growled at herself and sat down, looking disappointed.

from what she smelled he seemed to be a loner...then a haunting mating call rose up from the lake...

Snow flicked her ears up and began to call back.

wonder who that is Ashfoot thought

Shadowclaw tried to sleep again but couldn't. "Oh great. Now I can't get back to sleep." he said.

Hyrinmaru sniffed around as he walked, lifting his head when he heard a mating howl.

Snow ended the calling and wagged her tail happily. WIthout her knowin it, she took off in that direction.

Snow stopped by a loner male wolf, and sniffed him. He was not the caller, but she was interested. (It's Hyrinmaru)

Hyrinmaru lifted his head and let out a eary forlorn howl

Snow flattened her ears. He didn't seem to want anything to do with her.

Shadowclaw walked out of the den and angrily said "Keep it down will ya? I'm trying to get some sleep."
