Kate opened her eyes and sat up slowly. She ate a small mouse, then curled up beside Shadow agian.

Shadow twitched and curled in a ball

Kate gasped softily as she was pulled, probibly without him knowing he did it, towards Shadow's belly.

Shadow whimpered slightly in his sleep

Kate frowned at his whimper, and she snuggled up agianst him. "It's okay," She muttered gentily, "I'm here."

Shadow relaxed slightly

Kate started to lick her paw as she purred.

Shadow opened one eye and watched her

Kate streched out agianst Shadow, and looked up at him.

Shadow smiled

"Mew."

Shadow nuzzled her softly

Kate giggled and purred.

Kate put her paw on her muzzle. She took off her silver collar.
