Name: Vincent Ashwin
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Grade: Third year
House: Hufflepuff
Wand: 14" Hornbeam, Unicorn hair core.
Favorite class(es): Care of Magical Creatures and Transfiguration
Pet(s): He has two owls. One is pitch black, and her name is Artemis. The other is russet colored and named Apollo.
Quidditch: He doesn't play Quidditch.
Blood: He's half blood.
Height: Around 5'4. Very short.
Weight: 110
Nationality: Italian, Irish and English.
Family:
Nicholaus Ashwin (Father, alive)
Minerva Ashwin (Mother, deceased)
Anne Ashwin (Little sister, 10)
Emmanuel Ashwin (Older brother, alive, 19)
Jacob Ashwin (Older brother, deceased)
Patience Laural (Older sister, married, alive, 24)
Looks: Vincent is short and weak. His skin is quite pale, as if there is no blood in him at all. He is quite bony, and his robe is quite baggy on him. He has black hair that is usually well kempt, with dark brown eyes to match. He blushes very easily, in contrast to his ghastly skin. His eyes are quite large, and he has a small nose. His lips are average thickness and he is often smiling, revealing straight, white teeth. He has long fingers, and long limbs. He often references to himself as a spider, with such long limbs and large eyes.
Personality: Vincent is quiet and shy, generally. He has a warm, loving heart with a love for humanity. He loves animals, and he loves knowledge. He takes time and thought to any decision he may make, and loves to help people. Vincent is very clingy, easily embarrassed and very prone to be jealous. He is overly critical of himself, caring about his appearance strictly. He is extremely anxious, and taps his foot and draws a lot. His attention span isn't the greatest, but he manages to pass *most* of his classes. He is easily scared as well. -
Name: Milo Crosswick
Age: 15
Gender: Transboy
Sexuality: Definitely panromantic, little interest in sex regardless of orientation
Blood status: Muggleborn, though his aunt (who married into the family) is halfblooded
Appearance: Messy, fluffy, dirty blonde hair/tan and covered in freckles, especially on his face, shoulders, elbows, knees, and back/hazel eyes/tall and super lanky/wears prescription glasses, though they're the stereotypical "hipster" frame style (he chose them because they look the least awkward with sunlight transition lenses)
Wand type: 8 inch Alderwood with Griffin feather core
House: Slytherin
Favorite classes: Care of Magical Creatures, Potions
Pets: many snakes, his favorite being a ball python named Pasta, also has a barn owl named Douglas
Other: Milo originally attended the Salem Academy of Witchcraft and Other Practical Magic in the U.S. His mother's work, however, forced the family to move to the U.K. and transfer their son to Hogwarts. While his eight-year-old sister has not shown any magical abilities, she seems perfectly happy helping out her aunt whenever she can (and since her aunt lives in Britain, it's now even easier for her to do so!). The young wizard is introverted but enjoys the company of his many pets, which she seems to acquire more of wherever he goes. He's kept an abundance of plants, especially succulents and cacti, in every room he's lived in. Though he's best at math and science, he loves singing and playing his ukulele, which he's surprisingly good at. He hasn't had many friends over the years. -
Oh and he didn't find out about being a parselmouth when he was eight or so and what his parents had dismissed as him being an imaginative little kid was confirmed by his aunt as him actually talking to snakes
She rushed out and purchased Pasta for him immediately -
Alrighty, where do ya wanna start? And who starts?

*just bumping this to ensure it doesn't get caught in the other threads*
-
I'll start when I get home. Sorry, I had a Thanksgoving party.
-
*chuckles Thanksgoving*
And yeah, it's okay ^.^ -
Ahhhhh would you mind switching to Slytherin? I feel like there isn't much to do without them being in the same house
-
Ahhh. I mean, Hufflepuff fits him more, but maybe we can say he was "accidentally" sorted there? That there was an error?
-
Perhaps hey both were? I just don't know where to start otherwise
-
I get it, I get it. We can just say either he was accidentally sorted there, or they both were accidentally sorted there. Your choice.

Awesome. Thank you. Also I thought third years were supposed to be 13-14?
The hall was probably one of the most breathtaking places he'd ever seen. Not in the sense that the place was incredibly beautiful or inspiring, but due to all of its small, combined aspects. The candles floated in midair, illuminating the ancient stone walls. Students crowded in at four long tables, and at the front of the hall, teachers sat at a height allowing them to watch over everyone present. Everything about the space, from the long, black robes to the fact that he school building was a castle made the place feel like it was fixed in time. Milo gulped, then walked down the middle as directed by the teacher that'd led him into the school.
As he walked, he tried not to look at the other students. The boy made a mistake in doing so earlier, only to discover that they were staring at him with confusion and annoyance. He swore he could hear someone whispering about why he was there, and about the fact that he was putting off their dinner. He quickened his pace and reached the front, finally reaching the stool in the front of the hall. On it sat an old, tattered leather hat. He stared in confusion for a moment, before one of the teachers rose and walked down to him. "Milo Crosswick," she said, stopping on the other side of the chair before picking up the hat. "Please have a seat. I'll place the hat on your head, and it will announce your house. You'll sit at the appropriate table afterwards." -
Agh a fifth year then O.o
The fidgety Vincent anxiously sat at the table, full of other Slytherins. All of whom he was almost entirely outcasted from. He wasn't ambitious enough to truly be one of them- He had no real craving, no real goals. He didn't really care about his future. But, since the hat had but him here, it must have meant he was destined to be here, right? Another year, another year of not fitting in. Not truly, anyways. Maybe he'll find his ambition this year. Vincent could only hope. The boy sighed, looking up to the person who would soon be housed.
Vincent remembered those days. He was a first year when he was housed, obviously. His brother, Emmanuel had been a fourth year. And Jacob, his other brother, had been a fifth year. Like he was now. Emmanuel was in Ravenclaw, and Jacob in Slytherin. Oh, how proud Jacob was when he found out his little brother was one of his own! And how wronged Emmanuel had felt to be the "different" one. The "outcasted" one. And Vincent was just confused- Feeling a mixture of tween emotions, like a whirlwind. Not a pleasant one. He wondered if the new boy was feeling anything like that right now. Is it possible that anyone could have related to the bitter, cold, distant anxiety that he had? The wronged, disappointed feeling? Mixed with relief and self-pity? Oh, that day he had no idea how to feel. But that was just him, Vincent thought. No one could relate. Neither of his brothers, not his parents, not anyone.
