Lemme type up a plot. If you don't like it, I'll make a different one.

In another world in which vampires rule the majority of land, a man has died. Not just any man, but one of the oldest and most powerful vampires, who had ruled over half of the fanged population. He leaves his throne and lands to his young son, C1. Hardly done with his education, C1 takes the rule, a sort of king as far as that can go. His father left him with miles of land- Miles of ruin, really. A war as shook their earth for the last million years, between C1's father and the king of the other half of the population. C1 is quick about having the rival king killed, doing what his father couldn't. He pulls the two nations together, and, to make an example, sets out to kill every vampire who was sired by his now-dead rival.
When C2, the king's long forgotten blood son shows up at C1's door, he is swayed. C2 is also a vampire, but one of a different sort- For one, he's weaker. He doesn't believe in feeding on the humans they keep for that soul purpose. He's a peace lover, hating violence and war. C1 knows he needs to order the execution, but, how can he? This man has committed no sin against him.
The story would start shortly after C1 agrees to keep C2 alive, but only if he never leaves the walls of his castle. -
