Cho suddenly froze when Lori began talking to her. What? She's talking to me? Is this some prank somebody is trying to pull? No! I don't want to be made fun of! Cho suddenly began to freak out and knocked over her soup in an attempt to scramble away. "Agh! I'm sorry! It's not my fault! I don't want to be made fun of! I'm sorry!" She tried to get up and run but she tripped on a crooked board in the ship. Instead of getting back up, she now just laid on the floor of the ship crying and curled up. "I don't want to be alone! I just want a friend! Don't hurt me!" She then stopped talking and began sulking loudly, getting tons of stares from other people.

"Whoa, take it easy. I don't bite, I promise." Lori said, standing up quickly and walking over.
Annoyed, she snapped to look at the people staring.
"What're you freaks lookin at? Get back to trying to figure out how not to get yourselves killed in the exams." She yelled, then turned to try and help up the girl.
"Look, I didn't mean to scare ya..s---, I'm sorry. Are you okay?" She said, quieter, voice sincere and less rough than before. -
Cho looked up at Lori, trying to see her through the tears covering her eyes. "I-i... Um..." Cho suddenly realized what she just did and covered her face in embarrassment. "Oh no... What have I done? I've just drawn unwanted attention to you... You hate me now, right? Its okay, everyone else does too. I'm sorry... I-I didn't mean to... I'll leave you alone now..." Cho helped herself the rest of the way and daintily walked over to the spilled soup and began cleaning it up. "Oh, what a mess i've made... No wonder nobody likes me... I'm a freak... The swamp child... That is all I will ever be... Do I have what it takes to pass this exam?" She shed another tear.

"Heyyy! Calm down!" Lori said, growing impatient. She grabbed ahold of Cho's shoulder.
"No one hates you, 'specially not me. I don't have the right to hate anyone, 'specially someone I just met." Lori frowned, letting go of her shoulder.
"Look, I just seem to be making things worse. I'm gonna go, but if ya want to talk later, shouldn't be too hard to find me." She smiled, then began walking off, back to her perch on the railing. -
Cho panicked again and lept on top of Lori, hugging her leg. "No! Please dont leave me! Forgive me! I-I didnt mean to scare you!" Cho then stopped talking for a second and let go. "I apologize... Um... I'm Cho... But you can call me the swamp child like most other people do if you want... Um... Im sorry. I-I have never had any friends... S-so I dont really know how to talk to people. A-am I doing good so far..?" She asked, looking at Lori.
