C1 has just transferred from their father's publishing company to Marukawa Shoten. Assigned to the shoujo manga division, C1 crosses path with the person he'd least expected to meet. C2 is the editor-in-chief of the division C1's been assigned to, and the two seem get off on the wrong foot right from the very start when C2 unexpectedly kisses C1. However, there is more to than what meets the eye: C2 is actually C1's senpai and high school love, whom C1 had thought to have played him/her for a fool by taking his/her affections for granted when s/he confessed and summarily dumped him/her.
