Claire laughed softly as she stood. "So, its not time yet hmmm?" She sat on his bed. "I wonder when it will be..." She sighed and lied back against the wall, looking out of the window.

Hunter stood in the kitchen and smiled, but then his thoughts were pentetrated with horrid. Claire's sister Alice. "No." he said "No, you can't be here." his voice started to get higher and higher.

Claire began walking downstairs, going outside as usual when she heard Hunter. Alarmed, she peeked into the kitchen. (so wait, is Alice actually in the kitchen)

(No, just in his thoughts :D)
Hunter collapsed to the floor and started shaking. All he would repeat is, "No, no, you can't be here." That's when Hunter started to claw at the air in front of him. It seemed as if he were trying to tear something apart, that was unseen. -
Claire rushed in and hugged him. "Jesus, Hunter, calm down!" She held down his hands. "Look at me! There's nothing there! Alice isn't there!" She yelled, trying to calm him. She had figured out about Alice a while ago, but never said anything.

Hunter's heart-rate picked up, then slowed down. A single tear drop fell from his eye as the scene played over and over again in his head. "How could this happen? How did I become such a monster?" he thought, as he watched Alice die a thousand times, by his hand.

Claire trembled as she buried her face in his chest. "Please... Snap out of it... You're scaring me... Please, please, please!" Claire begged, clinging to him.

Hunter eyes finally snapped out of the haze and he held onto Claire. He was shaking like a leaf, but it was something he had to deal with on his own.

Claire took deep breaths, shaking just as bad if not worse than Hunter was. Her eyes were squeezed shut and tears rolled down her cheeks.

Hunter clutched Claire in a tight bear hug. "I'm sorry." he said crying. "I'm so, so sorry."

"Never do that to me again!" She yelled, still shaking. "Dammit, I've already said I forgive you! Alice was my past, you are my future!"

Hunter shook and nodded. He was scared, but he loved Claire more than anyone could understand.

Claire pulled away, her eyes red and puffy. "Promise me, Hunter." She begged.

Hunter looked at her and nodded. "I promise." he said, his tone just above a slight whisper.

Claire forced a relieved smile as she hugged him tightly, trying to regain her normal heart rate and pace of breathing.
