Hunter sighed and took the vial of poison out of his pocket. He would never have enough guts to tell her the truth. Claire didn't deserve a person like him. Hunter uncorked the lid.

Fandomfreak NewbieClaire ran up the stairs, panting heavily before stopping at his door. She regained her breath before lightly knocking. She was shaking like a leaf, and her voice showed it. "Hunter...? C-can we talk?"

Hunter looked up in shock, put the cork back on the vial and shoved it in his pocket. "C-come in." he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Fandomfreak NewbieClaire hesitated before walking in, her palms sweaty and her knees shaking as she sat next to him on the bed. "I... I need to... To tell you something... I... I... IknowyoudontfeelthesamebutIthinkIloveyou!" She rushed, her head down and eyes closed as she awaited rejection.

Hunter looked at her in suprise as he realized what she said. At first, he was in shock, then he stood up and gave her a hug. "I feel the same way." he whispered in her ear. -

Angelique stiffened as her eyes widened and she looked at him out of the corner of her eye. She slowly hugged back, her heart pounding in her chest so hard that it hurt... But in the good way. -
Fandomfreak NewbieAdding on: Claire felt a smile crawl upon her face as she closed her eyes, relaxing into his warm embrace. She felt comfortable... Easy... This was a new feeling for her, as she hadn't felt them in three years.

Hunter smiled as he wrapped his arms around Claire. His stomach was filled with butterflies, but he was happy.

Hunter looked at Claire and gave her a slight grin. "I wish that were true." he said, his face flushed a bright red. "I-I, er, nevermind." he said, getting ready to tell her what had happend, but he didn't
(I just realized, my response didn't make it through.) -
Fandomfreak NewbieClaire tilted her head, hair falling into her eyes. "You started to say something. Please, finish." She begged quietly, her cheeks a light pink.

"I-I can't. Maybe for another time." he said, a slight blush flashing across his face. Underneath that blush, was shame and hurt.
