('Sup?)
Andrew shut the system off after playing again for a few minutes. "I'm bored." Post putting on his shoes and grey hoodie, he stood up and walked over to the door, grabbing forty dollars off the kitchen counter al -
not much fam. btw whats the beginning like? before the bad thing happens? school day or naw?)
-
(Damn it, everything I just typed..
I think it will be during school. But Andrew doesn't go to school, so I'll think of something.)
Andrew pulled forty dollars off the kitchen counter and headed out, making his way to the corner store nearby. Along the way, he walked by a mysterious looking man in black, who gave him the evil eye. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?" Andrew asked, stopping. The man in black didn't answer, however, and just kept walking. Shrugging it off, he walked into the store, grabbing various food items and putting them on the front counter. After paying the clerk, he looked at the little t.v and saw something playing, the news. They were going on about something like a virus breaking out in the southern part of town. "Looks serious.." -
Ivan sighed and plopped onto his bead, turning on his radio via remote. Something about a virus was on the news, but Ivan gave it little attention. "I should be fine. Knowing my luck, my chances of getting infected are slim." he said to himself, looking into his backpack. Suddenly, he heard a kid outside his house. He slowly looked outside and saw a man in black and some kid walk past each other. "Huh." he said. Bored,he decided to get dressed and walk on the path the kid was walking on. By the time he was dressed though, the kid was long gone. "it doesnt matter. if he takes the same path back, we will cross paths."
-
Thanking the store clerk, Andrew stepped outside, looking up at the now cloudy morning sky. "Rain this time of morning? How peculiar.." Putting up his grey sweater's hood, he started walking back to his house but stopped when he heard a rustling noise coming from behind. "Hello? Who's there?" A figure stepped out of the shadows, in its arm was what looked like a mannequin hand, painted red. He noticed the person's odd way of walking. "Sir? Are you okay?" A low, guttural growl erupted from his throat, causing Andrew to raise an eyebrow.
-
Ivan walked up the street, seeing no sign of this kid. "Ugh, why am i so interested about this kid? i just saw him out the window. its not like hes anyone special." Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice nearby. up ahead, to be exact. "Huh. its him again." Ivan rushed up the street and turned a corner, seeing the kid and some guy."Whats with the adult?" he asked.
-
Andrew shrugged, seeing someone close by. The man began shuffle walking over to the now startled blond. As he walked, several loud snapping noises could be heard coming from the man's leg. He was now a few feet away from Andrew, who dropped the bag of food. "Okay, he must be sick or something. That new virus, maybe?" The man placed his grimy hands around Andrew's throat and opened his mouth, revealing bloody teeth. As soon as he saw that, Andrew pushed the man backwards, who fell over easily. "Did he just try to bite me?"
-
Ivan frowned and ran over behind the man, kicking his head, snapping it off. Ivan looked up to the kid and then said nothing. come on self, say something! he thought.
-
Andrew watched the scene unfold, wide eyed. "..Overkill, much?" Shaking his head, he picked up the bag he dropped, turning back to the stranger. "Thanks for helping me, though. I may be-" All at once, every light in the city instantly shut off, leaving only the light from the dark grey sky. "One thing after another, huh? Just my day.."
-
Ivan gasped as the lights went off. Panicing, he grabbed the boys hand and yanked on it, signaling that he should follow him.
-
Andrew nodded, then looked the other way. "I'll have to get my sister first, can you wait here for me?" He asked, fear clearly written in his features.
-
(I've gotta go, I'll be back later or tomorrow.)
-
Ivan stuttered. "N-no! You could die! the rain... the... guy... even the l-lights... theyre bad omens... yheres something wrong. im going with you!" he said, trying his best to not p---- out.
-
(Hey.)
Andrew nodded once, motioning for the stranger to follow him as he began running through the softly falling rain. "Thank you, friend. Hopefully we won't run into any more trouble along the way." He wondered what was happening at his house, how his sister was faring.
