Kaitlyn looked at the girl and batted her eyes. "So, um, why are you up here?" she asked, her tone getting cocky a bit. She looked at down, seemingly ashamed of her actions.

Jade looked down at the concert below "why do you care" jade said her voice quivered

"Why shouldn't I?" Kaitlyn asked, trying to calm her down. She looked at the girl and realized, they didn't have that much that was different about them.

Because your pretty and popular and I'm ugly and nothing to anyone" Jade said looking over the edge

Kaitlyn looked at Jade and stood by her side. "Can I show you something." she said. "Even though i might be 'Popular' as you say."

"What" jade said, her feet just over the edge

"First, come down here." she said, her voice slightly tremoring. She held out a hand, for Jade to take it. Making sure her long sleeves covered her arm.

Jade looked from the edge of the bukiding to the girl, she took the girls hand, her wrist covered in scars, she stepped off the ledge

Kaitlyn smiled and looked a bit shocked to see the scars on her arms. She didn't know why she was shocked, she had scars, they just weren't on her arms. She had them hidden. "Now, nothing is worth taking your life over." she said, as tears brimmed her eyes. She sounded like a hypocrite, because that was what she had come here to do.

"Your wrong" Jade said "no one gives a dayum about me so why not jump" she said stepping on the ledge

"Name one person, that doesn't care about you." she said, trying to bite back the hatefulness that usually accompanied her words. She was tempted to show her what she had done, but that was for another day and another time.

"My Father, who stabbed me multiple times in the stomach" Jade said closing her eyes, waiting for herself to jump.

Kaitlyn looked at Jade and then looked down. "Jade, come with me to my house. Please." she said, there was something she wanted to show her.

Why?" Jade said frowning

"There is a reason, just come with me." she said, as she dragged Jade with her. She ran outside of the school building and to her house, not letting go of Jade.
