"Can I be red?" Emilie asked. Where are mommy and daddy? I'll just act normal so he doesn't see I'm worried, my brother wants me to be happy. Seeing him happy makes me happy.

"Yes, and I'll be blue." He plastered a fake smile on his face, his cheeks like cherries. She looks suspicious, she looks suspicious, she looks suspicious. Don't panic, don't panic, don't panic. Errrr.

"Yay!" Emilie said trying to sound happy but failed at doing so. Now my brother is worrying, oh no.

Wyyat nodded his head, looked down, and twiddled his thumbs. "Emilie, can I ask you something?"

"What is it?" Emilie wasn't worried anymore, she was scared. Something has happened, she doesn't know why or how, but something had to happen.

Wyyat procrastinated, procrastinated, procrastinated, and procrastinated a little more and asked something different than planned. "Are you hungry?" He chatered his teeth and ran his fingers through his hair.

"No, I wanna know what happened to mommy and daddy." Emilie replied.

s---. "I told you they're at work." Wyyat started to get a bit angry. "They're working late."

"No they aren't, you would of shown me the text." Emilie said, now mad.

Completely ignoring what just came out of Emilie's mouth, Wyyat huffed and stomped up to his room, too agitated to speak.

"FINE, LEAVE. I ALREADY THINK I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!" Emilie screamed at her brother as she put the game away, crying. They're dead. Gone. We won't be able to see them for a very long time.

Wyyat sniffled and replied. "Yeah, you think!" Yeah, he felt a little bad, but he just wanted to protect his little sister.

"I'm...sorry Wyyat." She went over to hug him. This must of made him feel sad.

Wyyat hugged his little sister really right, locking his fingers around her. "It's alright. I'm so sorry. I just wanted to protect you because I love you. We'll figure this out, okay?" A tear streamed down his face, rubbed Emilie's back, and kissed the top of her head. "We can do this."

"O-okay, I love you too." Emilie left the house and went onto the street.
