Xander looked at him and grinned. "Let's go to that Old haunted house everyone's always talking about" he said over the noise of the hallway. He ignored a snide comment from one of the Jocks and kept walking. "Prove it's just some hype" he continued, looking at the brunette.

"Anywhere you want," Per pushed open the black doors that led to the outside. "As long as I can have a smoke." Upon entering the outside, Per whipped out a lighter and his box of cigarettes. "But don't expect me to hold ya if you get scared." he joked, lighting a Marlboro light.

Xander wrinkled his nose at the smell. "Ick, how do smoke those things?" she said, chuckling a little. He snorted and smirked "Oh you can hold me anytime" he joked back, winking.

"..." Per took a puff of his cigarette. "Once you start smoking, you can't stop. It relieves stress." He ignored Xander's remark, although his cheeks coloured slightly. "How far away is this place, anyhow?"

"Just a few blocks" he said, leaning against the railing of the school stairs. He crossed his arms while he waited for Per, looking up at the sky. -
Per looked at Xander from the corner of his eye. He wasn't done yet, but he didn't want to keep him waiting. Per slapped Xander's shoulder. "C'mon, you can lead the way. We can walk while I finish this thing."

Xander nodded. He honestly hadn't mind waiting, he just liked being in that comfortable silence with Per. "This way" he said, walking in the direction of the old house. He stuck one hand in his pockets, out of habit, and put his shades on with the other.

Per finished his cigarette along the way, dropping it and stomping it out. He ran a hand through his hair. Per wanted to say something, but nothing came to mind, so the boy stayed silent, glancing at the other every now and then.

Xander noticed the other glanceing at him, and his cheeks colored slightly. He looked over at Per and then back at the sidewalk. "So uhm, my foster parents are on vacation, so I was wondering if I could crash at your place for a few days?" he asked, rubbing the back of his neck.

Per shrugged. "Sure...my parents are off doing whatever the hell it is they're doing. " He shoved his hands into his pockets and looked ahead. "But you'll owe me a pack of cigarettes. " He smirked.

Xander snorted "I'm not gonna help you get lung cancer, Per" he said, smiling. "I'm sure there's many other ways I can repay your kindness" he said, winking again.

Per blushed. "W-what are you saying now...? H-hey, are we there yet??" He took his hands out of his pockets and scratched his head nervously.

Xander smirked and batted his eyes innocently "What? I was just talking about buying pizza." he said, chuckling. "Yeah, it's down this alley." he said, turning the corner.

"Sure you were. Great, a creepy alley. Ha. Maybe we can loot this place." Per yawned, the comforting sunlight that warmed him disappearing as they turned. The shadows acted as a dark veil over the two.

"It's like a hundred years old, there's probably something valuable in there" he said "If we don't get killed by the big bad ghost first" he joked. He shivered a little in the shadows, before pointing to a big dark house. "There it is"
