Valentine firmly wrapped his arms around the other's waist, not clinging like a lover but holding on hard enough so he wouldn't accidentally let go and fall. He was sure to give Jasper specific directions, though he could have easily ridden them there himself. "Mhm. What about you up there? Are you doing okay?"
-
Nooo Jasper no lets people drive his bike huh uh)
Jasper smiled a little "Yeah, I'm fine. You're not the biggest person I've toted around." He found that Valentine didn't live too far from him, and got the two there in no time. "Alrighty, here we go." He snapped the kickstand down and got off first to make it easier for Valentine -
(pfft Jasper needs to share
also I'm so sorry, I didn't see you had responded! :c I was waiting on you and now you've been waiting on me.)
Valentine grinned like an idiot the whole ride to his house, pleased that he had gotten a joke out of Jasper. The two hadn't known each other for long, but he could feel himself already growing to like the person. Somewhat, anyway, because the younger felt like he was still a bit of a jerk on the inside. After Jasper got off of the bike, he followed suit, the grin fading. "Thank you, really, Jasper. For both saving my butt and giving me a ride home." -
(Jasper's protective. It's fine! You were waiting on me earlier.)
Jasper smiled a little and ruffled the little boy's hair, not really sure what else to do. He felt like he had simply taken care of the younger, but that small, temporary smile... "No problem, Valentine... Take care of yourself, okay?" -
(Jasper better be protective of Valentine later--/shot
So how should they meet up again?)
"I will. You too, though I'm sure you already do that!" Valentine's grin started to come back, though it ended up being just a smile. He looked back at his house, and a sigh escaped his lips. If anyone he had known was in there and noticed him, he would have gotten in a lot of trouble with his parents. As it was, he'd have to come up with an excuse for where he was. He could see his mother staring at him in the window. "Say, do you hang out at any shops around here? Maybe Starbucks, or something..?" He turned his attention to Jasper. -
Duh x3
Um, school, maybe? Grocery store. p--- store. Idk
Sorry, had to do dishes)
Jasper nodded a little and returned the smile, chuckling a little at how cute it was. He wrinkled his nose at the mention of Starbucks and snook his head. "No, not Starbucks. There's a little family-owned cafe about a mile up the road. Coffee, tea, smoothies, even sandwiches and wraps. Might be described as quaint. Open 24 hours, all that blah." He glanced at where Valentine was looking and noticed a figure. "Do you need a receipt or something?" -
Bump?

(ty, let me add this to my bookmarks and I'll respond)

(Sorry for the wait.
You can make up a name if you please)
Valentine blinked when Jasper seemed to make a face at the mention of the famous coffee shop. He held back a laugh when he realized Jasper had another place in mind. "Maybe I'll have to find you there one day, return the favor with a drink or somethin'. Do you have the name of the place?" He rubbed the back of his neck as he felt his parent's stare seem to pierce his skin. "No, I'm good. I can say I ran into you and.. Made a friend. Say that you paid for a drink for me." -
It's all good? Make up a name?)
Jasper nodded slowly. "You don't have to, but if it'll make you feel better... It's called the Yellow Bird Cafe." He couldn't help smiling a bit at the friend statement. "Yeah, that works. My favorite color combination is gray, black, and deep blue, if you want some ammo. I'm 17..." He tried to think of anything else interesting about himself that Valentine could tell his mom but drew a blank. -
(I meant like for the cafe, if you didn't know of an actual cafe. xD Sorry.)
"It will, trust me. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I don't pay you back, y'know? It's just a thing of mine.." Valentine's hand dropped to his side, and he smiled after seeing Jasper's expression. "What's your favorite kind of animal? Just this stuff should fend her off, trust me. I can wing the rest if she tries to ask more.. Or say that we didn't get too far into talking." -
(Oh okay xD that's actually a real cafe, so...)
Jasper chuckled and nodded "I got you, it's all good. Mm, cats, definitely. Love ocelots, foxes, and leopards best. Cute things." He looked slightly worried and peered down at Valentine. "You gonna be alright?"
