Riley looked at him and then looked away, at the floor. "Y-Yeah" he studdered, emotions raw and confused. He didn't know what to think, and it scared him. Why had he liked kissing his brother? He'd never really determined his sexuality but that wasn't the issue. It was his brother! It was wrong! If anyone ever found out about this, they'd basically be shunned, treated like criminals. It would be much different for Riley, he didn't have many friends anyway. But Jesse, he'd be cast out. Jesse would lose his chances of getting a football scholarship, his friends would tease him and cut him out. No, Riley couldn't let that happen to Jesse, so he opted to never bring it up again. He stood up, pulling away from Jesse. "Thank you" he said, and unlocked the stall door, walking away.

Jesse sat there, stunned, for a few long seconds before registering that Riley was just going to walk away from this. "Whoa, hey!" he called, hurrying to follow him out of the stall. He grabbed Riley's arm, biting his lip and taking a moment to think. "That attack was pretty bad. I'll take you home." he said firmly. That would give them a chance to talk, to sort all of this out, without having to worry about being interrupted. "Go get your things and meet me in the office, I'll tell the nurse I'm driving you home."

Riley's breathing hitched when Jesse grabbed his arm, and looked at him. He sighed and ran a hand in his hair, knowing from Jesse's voice he wasn't going to get out of this. "Alright" he said, taking his arm out of the other boys hand. "I'll meet you at the car, Jesse." He looked at Jesse again, before turning around and walking back to class. He bit his lip nervously, want to avoid the conversation he and Jesse were about to have. Class had already let out so he walked into the empty class room and picked up his papers, putting them in his bag and slinging it over his shoulder. He tried to avoid thinking, focusing on putting one in front of the other.

Jesse watched him go, standing there for a moment before going to gather his things and head out to the car. He hoisted his bag up on one shoulder and sighed heavily, wondering how he would talk about this with Riley. He stopped in front of the car, leaning against its sleek blue hood.

Riley walked into the parking lot, and looked up to see his brother leaning against the hood of his car. Their parents were never home, which for once he was grateful for, so they wouldn't have to explain the early arrival home. He was still nervous about the drive home, not want to bring up the kiss again. He ran his hand in his hair again, out of pure habit, as he walked towards his brother. "Hey" he said when he close, avoiding eye contact.

Jesse sighed. "Hey, get in. We'll talk at home." he said quietly, tossing his bag into the backseat and climbing into the driver's seat. He sighed heavily, trying to figure out how on earth he could explain what he'd done. -

"Okay" Was the only word Riley could force himself to say. He tossed his bookbag into the back seat with Jesse's and got into the passenger seat. He buckled his seat belt and looked out the window.
