Jack stood up and grabbed his things as he headed for the door at a slow pace.

Avery walked out as she looked down, she didn't notice the boy in front of her that was walking out of the door slowly and bumped into him, falling back.

Jack felt someone walk into him so he turned back and looked at her."you okay?" he asked her as he stared at her.

Avery looked up as some people laughed at her. "Yeah." She said as she got up slowly.

Jack walked over to her and helped her get up to her feet."Just ignore them, you sure you're okay?" he asked again wanting to make sure.

"Thanks. Yeah, I'm fine." She said as she rubbed her legs.

" Welcome miss. I'm Jack by the way. " he said patting her on the shoulders lightly.

"I'm Avery. Nice to meet you..." Avery said as she smiled lightly.

"Okay Avery." he said holding out his hand to her as he smiled.

Avery shook his hand. "You must be one of the popular people, aren't you?" Avery asked.

Jack stared at her "yeah, I guess. I am one of the best on the football team they say."

"Usually people like you are sorta the b----es of the school, your actually talking to a non-popular person. Why?" She asked surprised.

"Why not? I'll talk to anyone if I feel like it. Besides, you're new, need someone to help you here I guess." he said

Avery smiled. "I guess your not so bad." Avery said.

"Same to you Avery. You seem nice." he said smiling.
