"Why are they after you?" Dustin asked as he sat down on the grassy ground. Dustin was curious now at who he is. Is he some type of person who escaped jail? Dustin thought as he sighed softly.

"I..uhm..I'm a rose."Xani said,slowly uncovering his hand and showing it to Dustin."They say I'm magic and want to kill me to do research because I'm the only one they have seen in a really...VERY...long time."He explained.

"Rose? Magic? What's that all about magic doesn't exist" Dustin said tilting his head slightly. "You and the government must be crazy" Dustin said as he looked down at the dirt. He began playing with the grass as he soon became bored in the situation he's in.

He pulled his hand away."Would you think I'm crazy if I turned into an owl?And possibly just bail this conversation completely?"Xanti playfully teased,nudging the other with his arm.

Dustin really didn't know how to answer this. The man to turn into an owl and just bail? It seemed nearly as if he's kidding. Dustin laughed softly at him. "You definitely must be crazy" Dustin said smiling.

"Yeah,your the crazy one now."He murmured.Xani felt the need of his owl form.His bones crunched as it formed a speckled owl,whining at the painful sound of his own bones breaking and moving,crunched up into a new form.He didn't like changing,but yet he could not feel how painful this would be to a human.Once in his owl form,he glided his way up the grand owl,hooting."I told you so."He called down to Dustin.

Dustin was shocked by the result of the stranger turning into an owl. "I guess Ihave no choice but to bbelieve you" Dustin said standing up. He stuffed his hands into his pockets. "So, you're a Rose, sounds strange but possibly usefulto the world" Dustin whispered under his breath.

Xani turned his neck around,sweeping down to Dustin's shoulder."I heard that."He hooted,gently pressing his talons into Dustin's shirt for grip.In owl form the sun would tire him,but he had learned how to fight against the natural instinct and relaxing rays.

Dustin didn't really mind the grip on his shoulder. "Anyway, I'll like to continue my walk if you don't mind" Dustin said as he looked down the path. He only saw trees, grass, twigs and leaves up ahead of him. Nothing would change if he were to turn around.

"Oh,uh...o-okay,I guess."Xani said and flew off,taking refuge in a large oak tree.He watched Dustin walk off,before hearing murmurs from the distance.Familiar figures came wandering into the park,and Xani hesitated on whether or not to fly off.

Once he began walking and listening carefully to his environment Dustin sighed. Great more weird bull s--- is happening to me Dustin thought as he took out his pistol. Holding his pistol and keeping his finger off the trigger Dustin waited for the murmurs to be loud enough to hear.

Xani flew frow the tree at high speeds,dropping slowly before flapping and being pushed higher.He noticed going by Dustin,who would probably only seen a mixed blue-pink blurr pass by.The figures caught a sight and began to chase Xani.He became tired,having to chrunch out of his owl form and run,but run more slowly than before.

Soon Dustin heard nothing as he came out of hiding. He began walking the same direction he had heard the murmurs. Dustin sighed softly and began whistling. He whistled in a low tone as he walked down the path. I wonder what happened Dustin thought as he closed his eyes.

Xani yelped as the figures got closer,and he ran as fast as his legs would take him.He lost speeds ever so quickly,stopping to catch his breath.He could feel his adrenaline racing;he had no idea how to get out of this mess.

Feeling as if something wrong was happening only just down the path Jason began running down the path. Don't tell me someone's in trouble Jason thought as he took out his pistol.
