"Looking for a river that's all" Lauren said as she stiffened. Lauren slowly turned around to face the girl that was behind her. Noticing the bow and arrow Lauren kept her guard up. "Would you mind taking me to the nearest river?" Lauren asked with a faint smile.

Amari looked the girl up and down, but the just looked tired. She put her arrow away and nodded a little. "Sure" she said. She grabbed an unopened water bottle from her bag and tossed it at the girl.

"Thank you!" Lauren said happily as she grabbed the water bottle. Lauren opened the water bottle and drank the fresh water. "That's refreshing after such a long run" Lauren whispered softly as she took a moment to breath. She closed up the water bottle and looked at the girl. "I have a question for you, do you know about Roses?" Lauren asked out of the blue.

"The what?" Amari said, looking back at the girl. The Roses sounded familiar but she really had no idea what it was. "The flower? There aren't many of those around here"

"Nevermind forget that I asked" Lauren said smiling This is like a blessing! I can get this girl to help me then ditch her! Wait..if she agrees to help me than maybe the government will be after us both? As long as they get her first I'll be fine! Lauren thought with a smile. "Hey, um..I don't really have anywhere to go..can you help me out?" Lauren asked happily.

Amari eyed the girl suspiciously. "Yeah, sure" she said, motioning for the girl to follow her. "I'm Amari." she said, giving the girl a small smile.

"Lauren" Lauren said as she smiled happily. "Since you agreed to help me I might as well tell you what Roses are," Lauren said with a sigh. "Roses are people with a tattoo of a Rose, some people are borned with it others are just like you..us Roses have special power and are running away from the goverment, they want Roses to become their new weapon" Lauren added. "Since you agreed to help a Rose the goverment will want to come after the both of us now" Lauren said shrugging slightly.

Amari looked at her. "They're capturing you for no reason?" she said, slightly irritated. She shrugged at the last part. Althoughshe wasnt happy about she didn't really care. "I csn handle it."

"No, they're capturing me to use me as a weapon for some sort of reason I don't know of..anyway the government is pretty hard to handle since they want Roses so badly, people too will do anything to capture a Rose for rewards" Lauren said sighing. She placed her hand above her rose tattoo. Lauren sighed as she heard the noises of breaking twigs and crumbling leaves.

"Hm, good thing for you i don't want rewards" Amari said with a small smile. She surely didn't trust the girlbut travel had left her lonely

"Right, thank god something good out of all this happened to me" Lauren said with a sigh of relief. Lauren smiled faintly as she reopened the water bottle. She drank the rest of the water to clear her throat.

Amari smiled a little and started walking when Lauren finished the water. "Come on, there's a stream a little ways from here." she said. She looked around checking real fast before ahe continued walking.

Lauren smiled happily at the good news. "Alright" Lauren said as she walked beside Amari. "So, Amari you live here in the forest or in the nearby town?" Lauren asked curiously.

"I live in the forest but my home is only a small walk from a town." she said, looking straight ahead. She was focused, listening for danger and making sure they didn't get lost.
