She got up and search for some firewood. She found some. She walked back and tried starting the fire.

Jack placed a bit more firewood got the side "hope it starts" he said looking closely.

"It's gonna if we get some coal on to the husk.". Misty started to twirl the stick in her hand as smoke appeared from the sticks.

"Good" Jack said as he observed it closely hoping it would start.

Some coal fell into the hust. She picked it up and blew it as flames formed on the husk. She gently put it in the middle of the firewood.

"Come on" Jack said to himself as he saw the small flame. He leaned in a bit to her a better look at it.

The fire then flared up. "Yes.". Misty got up and grabbed some dried leaves and branches.

"There it is" Jack said as he stepped back and stared at the fire. He three some branches into it to it to feed

It was getting dark and colder as the wind picked up. Misty crawled back into shelter as she took her flannel and tried covering her whole body.

Jack laid down outside the shelter next to the fire that kept him a bit warm.

She felt her eye get heavy. She looked at Jack as he laid down.

Jack kept his eye on the fire as he tried to sleep.

Misty felt like something was watching them. She couldn't see anthing beyond the camp.

Jack heard a small creeping sound out in the distance as he watched the fire."huh?" he said as it for louder.

Misty looked around but it was completely dark. "What is that?" Misty asked quietly.
