Shade was still unconscious.

Avery looked at Shade and ran to him. She felt herself feel normal. She tried waking up Shade again, she pulled him to the side of the sidewalk and patted hiface to try and wake him up.

Shade was still out cold.

Avery grabbed her phone out and called Fang. "Hello?" Fang answered. "Shade got hit by a car and he's unconscious! I need your help!" She said before trying wake him up again. She didn't know if she had powers or not.

Shade went into a coma.

Fang came and teleported to the hospital with Shade. Avery tried teleporting but she was empty of powers. She ran to the hospital and saw Fang taking him to a room.

Shade twitched.

"Come on bro! Don't die on us! Come on!" Fang said. He started to tear up. Avery caught her breath and walked into the room before getting stopped by a nurse. "Excuse ma'am but only family and spouses!" She said. "I'm his fianc!" Avery said.

Shade was still in a coma.

Avery looked at the nurse as she opened the door for her. Avery walked in and saw Shade, on the bed in a coma. The doctor came in and looked at him. "I'm afraid your fiance will be in a coma for a while." He said. "How long?" Avery asked. "A month or less.".

Shade was still and it looked like there was no signs of him being alive.

Avery began to cry. "This is my fault! I'm the one who made him this way." Avery said. She looked at him and ran her fingers in his hairs. "I love you!" She said.

Shade's spirit wiped away her tears as he frowned.

Avery looked at Shade's spirit. "Can I have some alone time with Shade?" She asked the doctor and Fang. They nodded and left. "I'm sorry!" She said, crying again.
