"Avery just calm down..." Shade said softly before he rubbed her back.

Avery heard Shade and she looked at him. She felt comforted.

Shade hugged her gently as he rested his head on her shoulder.

Avery hugged him back and nuzzled his neck.

Shade smiled before letting go and grabbing his mom and Avery.he then teleported to his secret place"mom could I ask you something?"

Emma looked at him, "sure!" She said.
Avery looked at Shade, not knowing what he might ask. -
"Why is Fang so aggressive?" Shade asked.

"Well honey, Fang has been agressive ever since your father has, you know. He just really misses him. He can't trust anyone but us." Emma said.
Avery clung to Shade's arm and she rested her head on his shoulder. -
"Is that why he doesn't talk or come out of his room?" Shade said as he ran his free hand through her hair.

Emma nodded. "He doesn't like to socialize with anyone either. Just don't mention this to him!" He said.
Avery purred and nuzzled his neck. -
Shade nodded before looking at her."She loves meh"he said as he grinned.

Emma smiled. "I'll leave you too!" She said before walking to the kitchen.
Avery smiled and kissed his neck. -
Shade grunted before he began to tickle her.

Avery laughed and grabbed his hand. "Where's Xander?" She whispered in his ear.

"One second" Shade teleported and grabbed Xander and went back to Avery.he then put him down before sneaking up behind his mom.
