The man teleported away before releasing Xander.
Xander ran to Shade not seeing Avery bleeding. -

Shade looked her sleep.

Avery had a hard time to breathe. She gasped for air and felt her chest.
Xander climbed to Shade's leg and cried. -
Shade tried to heal her wound as he trembled.

Xander watched as his mother bleed and had a hard time to breathe.
Avery coughed up blood. -
Shade put his full power into the healing as a green glow appeared from his palm.

Avery grabbed Shade's other arm before closing her eyes.
"Mommy?!?!" Xander said, almost crying. -
Shade gritted his teeth as he put everything he had into the healing.

Avery didn't move.
Xander looked at her, not knowing what to do. -
Shade looked at his palms as the green light flickered before disappearing.he then took out his phone before calling his mom.

"Hello?" Emma said.
Xander began to cry as he clung to his leg. -
"M-mom....could you and my brothers come to my location..? It's an emergency" Shade said as his voice cracked on the end.

"What happened?" Emma said concernly before getting Shade's brothers.

"She.....got shot..." Shade said before picking Xander up.
