Avery heard Xander crying and she stopped and teleported to his room. -
Shade followed.

Avery picked him up and rubbed his back. "What's wrong?" she asked.
"I saw a shadow in the window." he said as he pointed to the window. -
Shade walked over to the window and looked out it.he then looked around.

Avery bounced him up and down. "You wanna sleep with mommy and daddy tonight?" she asked.
He nodded and wiped his eyes. -
Shade closed the window as he walked over to them.

"We're not gonna let anything happen to you." Avery said as she rubbed his back and bounced him up and down.

Shade nodded as he glanced at the window.

Xander reached for Shade.

Shade picked up Xander and held him.

Avery smiled and looked at Shade. She wrapped her arm around his waist and looked at Xander.

Shade smiled.

"Okay, Xander needs to go to bed." Avery said and teleported away.

Shade teleported to his room as he looked at Xander.
