"What is it?" Avery parents asked. "I'll be back." Avery said before going to her room. "Shade?" she whispered.

Shade crawled from under the bed"yeah?"

"It's time." Avery said as she looked at him.

"Alright" Shade said as he nodded.

Avery opened her door. "Come in. I'd think you'd both wanna sit down for this." She said. They walked in and sat down on her bed as they saw Shade, they had anger in their eyes.

Shade looked at them emotionless as he leaned against the wall.

"I'd thought you'd said you weren't seeing this thing?" her dad said angrily. Avery sighed. "He's not a thing, he's my boyfriend and I love him, whether you like it or not." Avery said putting her foot down. "What is it with you Avery? You used to be such a good hunter and learner. Now your dating a....we....werewolf." her mom said.

Shade closed his eyes.

"I'm seventeen. I'm old enough to make my own decisions." Avery said as she looked at them. "but your living in our house, so we have rules." her dad said. "Well I broke them." Avery said. "You are gonna leave this boy and never see him again." they both said. "No, I'm not gonna do that." Avery said as she tried to control her anger.

Shade growled darkly as he bared his fangs.

"And why not?" her dad said. "Be...because I'm pregnant and I'm a werewolf." Avery said as she looked at them. "Nooooo. You're not a werewolf! or pregnant." her mom said. "Yes, I am. I took a test and went to the hospital." she said. They stood up and grabbed her arm. "Your not seeing him." Avery's parents said.

"Get your hands off of her!!!" Shade said as he shifted into a bear sized wolf.

"She's ours.....we can kill you in a matter of 2 seconds." her dad said. Avery pulled her arm away as she ran towards Shade. "I'm staying with Shade and you can change that.". "Well if your gonna make that decision, your not gonna live in this house." her dad said.

Shade grunted before pulling her onto his back.

"Fine. If you don't care, then I'll live somewhere else where I'm happy. Wait you what, I don't know you both. Your not my parents." Avery said.
