Kyla rubbed his back soothingly. "I won't let that happen to you again." she whispered, not entirely sure why she wanted to protect him.

Vincent. Stiffened again and pulled away from her when her hand brushed over one of his more painful scars

Kyla let him go and blushed lightly "I'm sorry.. I- I shouldn't have just hugged you like that..." she looked at him "But for some reason it hurts when I see you in pain"

Vincent looked down "its ok"

Kyla nodded and looked at her cup again.

Vincent looked back out the window

Kyla finished her coffee. "Are you hungry?" she asked him, standing up.

Vincent shook his head "not really"

She had a thought. "Do you eat?" she asked, because he obviously wasn't human.

Vincent nodded "just not a lot"

Kyla nodded and grabbed a bowl, pouring some ceral and milk.

Vincent. Moved away from the window

Kyla sat down as she ate
