Zoe looked at Kyla, she wondered if she was telling the truth.
"You know that I don't have the ability to make people happy." -
Kyla scoffed at that.
"Zoe, you're the only thing that made me stay. I wanted to run, hide my face, wallow in my own sorrow. But you always put a smile on my face."
She kissed the top of Zoe's head.
"You make me happier, right now, in this moment, then I've been in a long long time" -
"Ky...now that I think of it, I want to be...alone."
She felt like she was playing with Kyla's feelings. -
Kyla's face hardened slightly, feeing as if she just got slapped in the face.
"Okay"
She gently lifted Zoe off of her and set her back down, leaving the room. -
After Kyla left the room, Zoe's act vanished and tears Flowed down her cheeks.

Kyla sat on the couch and stared at her hands. She ran her fingers over the scars on her wrist and sighed, puling down the sleeves on her shirt.

"I wish I never woke up" she said to herself with her voice cracking.

Kyla pulled her legs to her body and wraped her arms around them. She didn't know how to help Zoe.

Zoe felt her eyes slowly closing.
"Sorry Ky." -
Kyla stood up and went into the bedroom.
"Zoe, I....."
She noticed Zoe was asleep and covered her up, sitting in a chair acrossfrom her. -
She murmured Kyla's name while sleeping.

Kyla got up and layed down, facing Zoe. She brushed a piece of hair from Zoe's face. A tear slipped down her face.
"I thought I lost you" she whispered -
Zoe started murmuring something and moving as if she was having a bad dream.

Kyla gently pulled Zoe into her arms and made small soothing noises.

Zoe smiled and hugged Kyla.
