Clara shrugged "I don't know, I'm just kinda wandering around "

"... I often do not have the best ideas.." I started, digging myself a hole. "But, we should work together. Travel the states, eh?"

clara laughed softly "yep"

"So, Imma get my truck, and we're going to Chicago," I said, nodding my head down my street." I started walking to my house. "Run away if you wanna stay, cuz I ain't here to make ya, woah, no.." I sung under my breath. "It's up to you what you really want to do. Spend some time in America.."

Clara laughed and ran after him

I paid no mind to the girl running to catch up to me, I was too caught up in my thoughts. What'll mom and dad think when I'm not there? Where will they put me if I stay? They know something's up.. I thought, feeling panicked. I didn't worry about the anime-girl thinking I was scared- I was never one to convey emotion.

Clara slowed down to walk beside him "whatcha thinking about?"

I shook my head. "It's nothing." I then took a right into my driveway. "Stay there, I'll be outside in a moment," I said, going inside my house.

I strided into the house, but quickly stopping at the living room. I looked around, seeing picture frames with my parents and I. I could remember every memory. I glanced over the pictures before lightly shaking my head, and going into my room. I opened my door, and saw that I left the light on. "Dammit, Chris.." I chided myself lightly. Grabbing my backpack, I started stuffing clothes, my gaming device, a pencil and paper, my keys, and my I.Ds is- My drivers' and my fake one. I was gonna need it if I were to go anywhere worth my time. Feeling satisfied with what I was bringing, I flicked the light off and went back outside, locking the door. Before walking off the first step, I glanced back to the old house, and whispered, "Goodbye." Waiting for something to happen- what to happen, I didn't know, maybe for god to smite me- I walked to my truck and unlocked it. "Hop in," I called to the girl, starting the engine.

Stella smiled as she got in the truck "thanks"

"For what?" I asked, shutting the door as softly as I could. Putting the truck in reverse, I exited the driveway. Turning on the large street, I got out of park avenue, and in a few hours, out of Lake county.

Clara smiled "for this" she waved her hand vagly before looking out the window

"Mm, very precise," I said, staring at the road. "So, we should get there in an hour or so if there's no troubles." Feeling bored, I started whistling.
