Sleep and darkness, that's all Sen really had ever though about while he floated in an abyss of literal nothingness. He'd been like this since that stupid with Kaida that caused him to be in the idiotic mess of being pinned to a tree with an arrow literally stabbing though his shoulder. The last thing he felt was anger, which was partially what he felt during the beginning, but now he was just bored. Another few minutes went by and he felt a presense, something was coming and it had power. He felt his eyelids flutter open slightly before he could actually see for a moment, being blinded by the light. He squinted slightly to finally see his surroundings again. He glanced around and tilted his head to the well. It was coming from there wasn't it? Hell he didn't even know if his voice still worked but it was a chance at freedom for once. "Hey! Who ever is in that well over there could you please get this goddamn arrow out of my shoulder?!"
Sia frowned slightly, his armor was actually feeling heavy for a moment, but the pain went away. He'd been wearing the stuff for days and still felt like when he first put the armor on. It was made from a type of dragon scales that he carved off from a dragon he actually slayed earlier, but it was an annoying beast anyways. He glanced around the forest slowly, taking in the landscape for a moment when he came across some wolves eating a human carcass. He frowned at the animals, pathetic as they were, they were partially family. His ears perked up slightly, he heard someone, maybe a little girl near by. He the turned away from the carcass and focused on the voice as he tried to find it. -
Ryoko tumbled out of the well, and was quickly set upon by the demon following her.
It growled, tails swishing as it stalked around the side of the well toward her.
She heard the voice then, and turned, seeing someone pinned to a tree.
None of this made any sense, but hell, she didn't want to be eaten! Maybe this guy could save her!
She darted over toward the tree, stumbling along the way a couple times, getting up just in time to feel the cat's breath on her neck.
She made it to the man's side, and gripped the arrow, pulling.
-
"Papa! Are you here?" She called, cupping her hands over her mouth. She stumbled slightly, dress getting caught on some bushes. She tugged slightly, afraid of ripping it and getting in trouble.
It was then she heard the growling, and saw the sets of eyes peeking out of the bushes.
"Papa!" She screeched, tugging her dress free and running in a random direction, the wolves on her heels. -
He winced lightly when the arrow finally came out of his shoulder. He dropped to the ground and crouched for a moment, then he finally stood up slowly and growled lowly. "Cat, I don't know whether you were the one who woke me up or that chick over there, but I really don't like cats." He grinned and his nails grew into claws slowly, his ears twitched slightly. He charged, even though he felt half way full of energy at the demon, slicing it repeatedly.
He heard the wolves growl loudly and a girl scream for her father. He though for a moment to to just let the girl get eaten, but then again maybe the girl could be of use. He walked quickly and saw the girl was almost going to get attacked, he then elongated his claws and growled loudly, coming out from the brush and in front of the wolves. He growled more and snarled at them. -
The cat demon growled in anger, taking the damage but biting down on the wolf demons shoulder out of something like spite.
It pulled back a second later, jumping a bit away, tail swishing angrily, looking from the human to the demon, unsure if it wanted to continue.
Ryoko was in shock, standing beside the tree.
-
The wolves, startled, stopped in their tracks. One growled a bit longer, but for the most part they cast angrily glances at the demon and backed off. There was plenty of easier prey further in the forest.
Kashiya crouched in a bush, cowering. -
Sen growled loudly and gripped onto his shoulder, trying to stop the bleeding so it could heal better. He waited patiently for the cat demon to make it's move, which was taking a long f---ing time. He could kill the demon if he wanted to, his ears flattened as he pondered for a moment.
Sia glanced away from the wolves and looked for the girl. He finally moved some shrubs away and spotted her. "There you are. They are gone now." He had a straight face and just stared down at the little girl. -
The cat demon, being the coward it was, ran off. Would this be the last we saw of the demon? Hahah you wish.
Anyway, Ryoko finally collected herself, and noticed the other was bleeding.
"Oh my god!" She said, starting toward him, slowly. "Are you okay? Is there somewhere we can get you help?"
-
Kashiya glanced up at the demon, glancing around outside the bush to make sure.
"Are you sure..?" She asked, getting up slowly. -
He waved her off. "I'm fine human." He looked back at her and frowned. "It seems you're..." he squinted his eyes again and started rubbing them. "f---ing sunlight, I've been asleep for hundreds of years, I don't understand the goddamn blinding light." He blinked rapidly.
He nodded lightly and then started to walk away. His "good" deed was done, the human girl could fend for herself. He had many other things to do today and babysitting a human was not one of those...things. -
"I really don't think you're okay, come on. You just saved my life, I think. Isn't there something I can do?" She pleaded, walking over to his side, frowning.
-
Kashiya blinked as he began to walk away.
She jumped up, following slightly "Um, sir! By any chance have you seen my father? He left a couple days ago, saying he was going to the town nearby to trade.." She trailed off, then shook her head. "Anyway! He was supposed to of been back by now, but he's not, and um..He's tall, wearing blue. His name is Manabu." -
His ears flattened. "I said I don't need help human, I'm fine. Now if you excuse me I'm going to leave now." He then started to walk off, not really caring about where he was going. He already had trouble with one human girl once, he didn't need it to happen again.
He stopped walking and glanced back at her. "No, I have not seen a human like that." Unless the human carcass was the man she was talking about. He the thought of telling her he was dead, but then again that would mean...why was he worrying about this anyways. "Maybe the wolves ate him." -
Ryoko watched him for a second, then sighed, storming off toward the well. She looked down inside of it, and was startled to see the bottom was solid.
"What?! But I..Oh come on!" She groaned, leaning down lower inside.
"Come on come on come on..Just let me go home. I don't know where this is-" She muttered, then tripped, and almost stumbled forward, but managed to catch herself and tumbled backwards onto her butt.
-
"..You don't think that's true, do you? I mean..We're always really careful, and Papa promised he'd come back.."She started, shaking her head.
"No! He can't be dead. He must just be in town. Um..thanks mister." She said, bowing slightly, before running off, heading toward the trail she knew led to town.
haha and then Heph laughed maniacally as she planned the destruction of said town -
He stopped and glanced back at her, hearing her annoying little rant. He walked over to the well and glared down at her. "What's you're problem anyways? It's just a dried up well, not like it goes anywhere!"
He rolled his eyes and started walking again, not wanting to deal with the little brat anymore. -
Ryoko glared up at him "Well then how did I get here?! Explain that!" She was beyond annoyed, and that coupled with confusion and a near death experience was kind of making her testy.
-
Kashiya soon found the trail, and started toward the town. She remembered her bag, still at the camp site, but shrugged that off. I mean, once she found her father, they'd go collect the stuff and move on.
Kashiya walked quickly, hoping not to run into anymore trouble. -
He growled at her. "Look I don't know how the hell you got here! I just know you're the one who woke me!" He huffed and glared down at her. "Not like I've been awake for the last hundred or so years to know what's been going on."
He soon stopped when he noticed a camp, seeing that a fire and a pack. He thought back to the little girl, but then though against that. She probably would come back for it and pester him, but then again he could be nice and deliver to her.
