Louis was sitting in the living room, on the leather couch, next to his father. Besides his father's occasional sniffles, mumbles of apology, and Louis' acceptances of his apologies, it was quiet. From the couch, they could see rather clearly out he window, and they were just sitting, waiting for what was to come. Louis, of course, didn't know what to expect. The man who was taking him, he didn't know him, or how he would treat him. His father had promised that he wouldn't be made into a slave or anything, but Louis wasn't so sure. He was optimistic, at least, that he would be able to bring his own things- in his old school backpack, he had some jeans, tee shirts, sweat shirts and books. And, tucked at the very bottom in a square plastic travel case, was his pet gecko. Only the necessities. When the van pulled up, the son and father said their last goodbyes, and Louis strolled out. He lingered, though, after shutting the door, staring at the van.
-
Micah got out to meet Louis, but didn't walk far away from the van, holding a hand out. "Um.. Yeah. Hi. I know, unfortunate circumstances, but it's a pleasure to meet you. Would you like to put your stuff in the back? You can sit there, but I'd like you to sit with me. Really, it's up to you." Micah wanted Louis to like him, after all, and that wouldn't come about if he wasn't kind. He gave the young man a smile, sighing. He was just as pretty as he had been in the pictures.
-
Louis wasn't sure what to think about this guy. He might just be playing nice so that the neighbors wouldn't freak out. After all, he was some kind of crime boss, and he didn't entirely trust him. He walked forward, meeting the man at about a foot away. "Hi, uh, yeah, okay." Louis was, admittedly, a little awkward. He ran a hand through his hair, while he stepped to the side to open the back door. He put his back there, setting in on the floor where it wouldn't move to much, and then shut to door to go instead up front, like Micah had asked.

(sorry)
He was pleased when Louis chose to sit next to him, and quickly got in, starting the vehicle back up. "Now, either we can talk, or you can put the radio to whatever station you like. I don't like silence," He explained, giving him a thin smile. Micah pulled out, heading onto the road. "I live a while away, though, so." He really did hate silence, but only when there were other people around him. It didn't make since to him. -
(It's okay~)
Louis couldn't tell if that was Micah's way of subtly telling him not to turn on the radio, but he figured it was. In any case, he shrugged, and sat back in his seat, staring out the window as his home left their view. "I don't really like music," he stated, and it was true. He thought it was distracting, and it really gave him a headache most of the time. -
"That's alright," Micah hummed, keeping his eyes on the road. "Okay. So, tell me about yourself. Like, your favorite color, your favorite place to eat, books you've read, movies you've watched, and things like that," He elaborated, glancing over at the boy. He was pretty tiny, but just as he had thought before, very beautiful. Micah was not regretting his decision at all.

(I just love short people who are like eye level with me it makes me happy yeee yay for short Louis
I think he's probably like 5'3" ish vry shrt)
Louis pulled his legs up, so his knees were in the air and his shins were on the dashboard. He hummed, thinking. "Uhm, my favorite color is green, I like Panda Express, and I read a lot of books and watch a lot of movies." He wasn't sure if he was supposed to say what his favorites were, but he went on, unable to resist talking about his books. "I... really like Howl's Moving Castle, it's my favorite book and movie. And, the Unwind trilogy, by Neal Shushterman. There's a philosophy book, called Sophia's World. It's really long but it has every concept of philosophy wrapped up in a fiction book.." -
(xD Yay I love him)
"Green. Perfect. I know what room to put you in," He smiled, nodding as Louis spoke, clearly passionate about his books. "What about the seasons? And actors and such? Personally, I like Fall, and.. Well, call me cliche, but Alexander Vlahos could kill me and I would be happy. He's probably the most attractive actor alive," Micah grinned, cracking his neck. -
(You and your Alexander Vlahos)
Louis had to think about this one, because all the seasons seemed alright to him. "I guess I like winter, I like snow." He giggled a little about Micah saying he liked Alexander Vlahos, nodding, "Yeah, he's pretty cool. Mario Casa, though..." He hummed, then laughed. -
(You don't understand, I'm in love with him he's soooo perfect ahhh)
"Mm, snows alright, but have you ever jumped off a trampoline into a pile of leaves? It's amazing," He smiled, nodding. "He's alright. Alexander's still better, though, I promise you." -
(He is pretty)
"I haven't, but think about all of the splinters. Honestly, and bugs," Louis couldn't help but to wrinkle his nose just thinking of it. "He is cute, but he doesn't look mature unless he's got a beard and he always shaves it. It's kind of dissappointing." -
(Those eyes of his make me wanna cry)
"Oh, stop being such a child," Micah teased, shaking his head. "I happen to like Alexander's baby face, thank you very much," He huffed, laughing lightly. "Hm.. Wanna stop and get something to eat? Are you hungry?" -
(I have googled him multiple times now his is very very pretty and makes me want a beard)
Louis rolled his eyes, but smirked as he stared out the window. "The beard is so much better." He thought, and yeah, he'd been too nervous to eat all morning and now he was starving. "Yeah, if we could." -
(laughs you would probably look cute but it looks odd growing in tbh)
"I guess it's all right sometimes," Micah admitted, looking for an exit that advertised food. He found one, and took it, humming under his breath.
