"Good," He responded, continuing to roll his palm for a few moments before slipping his hand beneath the waist band of Louis' pants. He knew the boy was being truthful about how it felt, but he could still tell that he was a bit nervous. With a flash of pity, Micah pulled his hand away, gently scooting back. "I think.. I think this can wait for a bit. I'm sorry. It was rude of me to bring it up so quickly," He explained, hurriedly doing his pants back up. "I want you to get settled in first. And then we can properly discuss your.. Obligations."

Louis knew he really shouldn't be the one to feel sorry about what had happened, but as soon as Micah drew away he got nervous, and felt like he should apologize. With hands that were a little shaky, he started to do his pants back up, mumbling, "It's all right. Sorry. Okay."

"You don't be sorry. Like I said, it was rude of me. Um.. Sleep well. I'll see you tomorrow." With that, Micah left, locking the door behind him. He was quick about getting his girls into bed after he washed his hands.

Louis was slow to go to sleep. He took the opportunity to shower, since he had time to do whatever he wanted for the rest on the night. After he was cleaned and dressed in his underwear and tee-shirt for bed, he unpacked some of his clothes and set his gecko on his desk. He'd see about finding him more proper accommodations the next day. By then, he was tired, and got into bed, leaving the desk light on so he could read himself to sleep.

At sunrise, Micah was up, making sure breakfast was ready for his girls. Grilled cheese with ham, and bacon on the side for him and Ella, but plain grilled cheeses for Molly and Louis. Molly hated meat in the morning.
After getting the girls up and setting out plates, he sent someone over to get Louis up. -
Louis wasn't up at the sun, nowhere near that. He liked to sleep in often, because more often than not he stayed up quite late just reading. Just like last night, when he'd stayed up until three reading through half of a book. So, when someone came to wake him, he was still passed out on his bed, wrapped up in his blankets.

The lady who had been sent to wake Louis found her way to his bedroom, opening the door. "Um, sir.. Sir?" She moved in, gently shaking his shoulder when he didn't wake to her voice. "Micah wants you to join him for breakfast.." -
Louis jumped a little bit when he was touched on the shoulder, and finally opened his eyes. "Oh.. Okay. I'll be there in a minute, I've got to get dressed." He kicked off the duvet that he was wrapped up in, sitting up slowly, his eyes a little red from staying up late and not really getting enough sleep.

The maid left quickly, after telling him she would leave the door unlocked. Meanwhile, Micah's girls were brushing their hair, letting their dad help put it up. Piggy tails for Ella, one braid for Molly. -
(NAAAAY I WILL'NT)
Louis spent no more than ten minutes getting ready, deciding he'd come back and take a shower after breakfast. In sweatpants and a tee shirt with elephants on it, he left out the unlocked door towards the house. He was still a little nervous to be around Micah after the previous evening, but the man had seemed pretty kind in the long run. -

Micah smiled when Louis entered the kitchen, Ella already at the table, waiting. He was helping Molly pin back her bangs. "Good morning. Um.. I have a few things to talk to you about after breakfast, but go on and eat. -

Louis nodded, just a little nervously, at Micah before going to get his sandwich. He saw that his was made without meat, so he gladly picked it up and took it to the table to eat.
