Velma shivered at the guy in the purple suit but she stepped out of the car and looked up at the sky. She had the feeling this wouldn't be a normal case.

Fred said "We're here to solve a mystery about strange noises from this building." The man said "Impossible, this place is closed. I should know, I used to work here. My name is Dominic Smith."

"Strange noises? What strange noises?" Scooby asked. He ran back into the Mystery Machine and hid between the seats.

Velma seen Scooby run back to the van and went to talk him to coming with them. "Scooby, come on, nothing will hurt you." she coaxed.

"Scary sounds means ghosts! Not going." Scooby shivered and crawled lower.

Dominic said "You know why this place was shut down?" Shaggy got out and said "No, but I haven't. But I have a feeling it's a scary reason." Dominic said "Back in 1987, when the restaurant was given new light, someone dressed up as one of the animatronics and murdered 5 kids in a back room." Shaggy said "Zoinks."

"Scary puppet man will get us! Not going!" Scooby wailed. He put his paws over his head and whimpered.

Velma looked at Scooby. "What scary puppet man?" she asked. -
"The on in the window!" Scooby whimpered more and scrunched up into to a ball-like form.

(It occurred to me, no one is voicing Daphne. Anyone wanna take that role?)
Dominic said "I think you're dog has blown a gasket. The puppet animatronic is long gone. Any way the murders weren't the worse part. There was also the Bite of 87 that happened the same year." -

Daphne smiled as she looked at Fred.
Velma looked at Scooby and tried to coax him out once more.
