care_bear19 NoviceKeira startled and almost swung at the other man. She looked at him. "I know that." she said sounding harsher than she intended.

"So," he started, wiping his bloody nose again. "If you still want hands to hit me with, we should probably get out of the capital city."

"Well, my brother's a merc, and I think the king already bought him," Henry shrugged, not really knowing where he was going. "And we are being kicked out of the kingdom. There's a civilization to the west of here.." Henry muttered.

care_bear19 NoviceShe continued eyeing him. She finally relented. "Alright. But lets get one thing straight" she said pointing her finger at him "As you just learned I'm not weak. I can handle myself and I don't need protecting. And just because I'm a woman doesn't give you the right to boss me around. Got it?" she didn't wit for an answer "Good. I'm Keira by the way." she said letting her harsh tone fade away.

"Alright, Keira," Henry said, with a slight glare in his gaze. "But, that doesn't mean because you're a woman, I won't boss you around, alright?" He went past her, into the king's guard's quarters.

care_bear19 NoviceKeira watched the man walked away. She snorted and walked to Mao's house to get her things. When she walked in he looked up and smiled. "So what position did you get?" Gordan asked as he came into the room. Keira looked at them bothand sighed.
"I won. But the king banished me and the other Guard member I was fighting." she said looking down.
"What?!? That's it I'm going to-" Gordan started.
"No. You aren't." Keira started "You have a wife and children. There are too many things to worry abot then this. I can handle it. The other guard and I are going to a town in the east" she said. She hugged them both and collected her things. She said her goodbyes and left -
Seeing no one else in the room, Henry ransacked the place. Coins, cloth, anything useful for the travel ahead of him. Feeling secure with two bags of silver coins, he held a rag to his face, annoyed that the bleeding hasn't stopped. As he left the castle, he saw his brother cleaning his sword. "Good luck," Josh said, and Henry nodded in return. Henry stood outside the castle walls, not knowing if Keira left or not.

care_bear19 NoviceKeira walked to the castle. As she walked she thought. Did she really trust the man she was about to leave with? I mean whe was just trying to fight her, but only because the king forced him. But on the other hand it would be good to have someone come along. Sure she was smart and a good fighter but she didn't know everything. And if she got wounded maybe he would help. As she saw the man leaning on the Castle walls she decided it would be better to go with him, at least for now. "Ready?" she asked when she walked up to him.

Henry nodded. "Yeah, and by the looks of it.. "He glanced at the sun again. "We have five to four more hours until the king sends the Calvary.. It's roughly a two day trip to get to the next town over, so we should move now," he said, pointing to the left of him.

care_bear19 NoviceKeira nodded and started in that direction. "Well come on then" she said walking ahead of him.

"Okay, lady," he rolled his eye, following her. "We should probably rent an inn for the night as soon as we get to the next town. We can't buy any food for the travel, then. You know how to hunt?" Henry asked, now walking beside her.

"Why didn't you apt to be a soldier? They use more versatile weaponry," Henry told her. "You only need to use a good long-sword to be on the kings guard,"
