"Ow!" He whispered in pain.
"Sorry about that back there." -
"Sorry, and It's okay." She smiled. "Ah. There it is. Now we can bandage it."

"How the hell did this happen?"

Rain shrugged. "The shadows usually don't like it when people hurt them. Call me crazy, but I can understand them. I can also tell the difference between a human soul, and a creatures soul."

"Neat."

She nodded, then began bandaging his wound. "I just wish I could leave this place.

"Yeah." He said, looking into her eyes again.

She looked back and him. "There. Done."

"Yeah, thanks" He said, moving closer. Then he snapped back from this-this...trance.
"Uh, thanks." He said.
"It's getting late. Not to be rude, but can I bunk here?" -
"Of course. You can use my bed. I have a sleeping mat I can use." she smiled.

"I'd prefer the mat." he smiled.

"If you say so." She smiled.

He transformed into wolf form, and laid down on the mat.

Rain sighed, took of her jacket, then plopped onto the bed.

Brian snored.
