Rex restocked the fridge, then grabbed an old root beer.
"Can't be bad." He shrugged. He plopped himself down on a beanbag chair, and turned o the tv to the news, 2 cities away. He opened the root beet and gagged.
"I stand corrected." He dumped the rest on the floor, and threw the can in the trash, without getting up. -
Ash sat on the floor, she put her head in her hands

"You guys hungry?" -
Ash shook her head "no"

"Put the pizza in the oven, I'll be back." Rex said. He walked out of the kitchen.
"Ash, come here." Rex said, opening the hatch.
