care_bear19 NoviceCassidy heard a door closed and looked back at Midnight she smiled slightly. "Hey Mid" she said, eyes shining brightly.

"Hello Cas" Midnight said as her eyes sparked brightly.

care_bear19 NoviceShe stood up and picked up her bookbag. "Ready to go? There's this great coffee shop down the street if you're okay with that."

"Yeah I'm okay with it" Midnight said as she nodded.

care_bear19 Novice"Alright then." she responded smiling "It this way" she said pointing as she started walking.

Midnight nodded and followed Cassidy.

care_bear19 NoviceCassidy walked down the sidewalk with her hands in her pockets. She started humming slightly until her phone rang and she stopped. "One second please" She checked her phone and her face flushed, turning slightly pale.

Midnight raised an eyebrow in confusion before letting it slide.

care_bear19 Novice"Um" she looked away and started typing furiously. She hit the send button and put her phone away her voice becoming hard as she said "Come on let's go" and started walking away quickly, glanceing around.

Midnight followed as her eyes glowed slightly.

care_bear19 NoviceShe lead her to a small 50's themed cafe called "Darla's". The walls were red and white striped and had old records and a jutebox inside. There was a counter with black stools and multiple white tables with red seats. There were a few people inside but it wasn't packed. "Hey Darla." Cassidy said to a girl behind the counter who looked to be in her late 20's.
"Well hey there sweet pea" Darla said in a texan accent. She come out from behind the counter and hugged Cas tightly. She looked at her face and frowned "Wha-" She started but Cassidy cut her off.
"This is Midnight. I was wondering if we could work on our project in here" She ssid quickly. Darla frowned slightly before looking at Midnight. "Sure thing sweet pea. It's nice to meet you Midnight, I'm Darla." she said holding out a hand to the girl. -
"Likewise" Midnight said in a British accent as she shook hands with Darla.

care_bear19 NoviceDarla smiled "Well I have to get back to work, let me know if you two need anything." She pointed at Cassidy "And you and I are gonna talk later girly" she said walking back behind the counter.
Cassidy sighed and nodded. "Come on, let's go sit down" she said -
Midnight nodded.
