  Midnight nodded as she smiled and started playing her drums again at a steady beat.

  Cassidy took a deep breath and moved away from the drum set, so she didn't run into it. She started dancing, gliding across the floor smoothly. She twirled and moved to the beat. She was a little rusty but once she started she was like well oiled machine. Graceful on her feet but a fire of passion in her eyes. She let her body react to the beat, almost zoneing out but still acutely aware of Midnight.
