  The girl came with the pizza. "Enjoy" she said before walking off. Cassidy glanced at the browned haired waitress walking away. "Is it mean that I don't like her?" Cassidy asked half-joking half-serious. She blushed slightly and picked up a slice of pizza. "I'm not even the jealous type.. normally" she muttered.

  Cassidy's phone rang. She groaned slightly and answered it reluctantly. "Hello?" she said holding the phone to her ear. "Um, yes sir. Okay. I apologize. I understand. But I just... Yes sir. Thank you. Goodbye" she said. Cassidy hung up the phone. "My dad" she explained. "He warned me that my mom was looking for me" she shook her head and continued eating.

  Cassidy looked down at her lap. "Sometimes I hate them... so much. But mostly I just feel bad for them. Which sounds completely crazy but, they're just so.... helpless. The lost a daughter... might as well say two and they are so absorbed in drinking they can't fix themselves." She looked up with a firm and determined look in her eyes. "But that doesn't excuse what they do. But I forgive them, not for them, for me. Because I don't want to become bitter and angry at the world. That just means they've won the game. That they've turned me into them. I will never be like them." She said, eyes aflame with anger and determination.
