"Y-yes, just y-your normal human girl that is a friend of the rose quart." Connie said while backing away. "I have to go now t-t-to d-do some... human girl stuff and things and stuff."
(I just thought of a major idea, but s_e would have to approve of it.) -
Let me guess you thinking Connie could secretly be a gem..)

No. I was thinking an evil gem kidnapped Connie because she realized how much steven likes her and the gem or her assistant or something pretends to be Connie with shapeshifting. The gem is trying to get closer to Steven to try to kidnap him, but it is a whole different generation of gems and... *blah blah blah*)
Connie ran off.
Opal kept trying to hug her farther, and failing terribly. -

Opal's father shook his head after opal jumped through him in an attempt for a hug for the 73rd time. "I have to go, darlin'" he said. Opal got all teary eyed. "When is the next time I can see you?" She asked. "Whenever you need me." He said while he slowly disappears into dust. -
You can be Steven for now!)
" Steven are you therE?" -
"Yeah I'm here!" Steven says. "I was just playing with lion."
