Diamond laughed, the sound like falling glass. "Now we can go home!" She jumped up and down, and fused with Emerald.

Pearl ran out. "You're not staying Steven! Not this time! This could be the war all over again!" Peridot jumped down. "We're here! Stop!"

They defuused. "What do you mean stop?" Emerald gritted her teeth. "They'll think we're one of them! We need to prove they made us stay!" -

Diamond drew a line in the sand. "You really did leave me!"
