Landon rolled his eyes. "I can walk." He stood up and attempted to walk but ended up leaning against the wall for support.
-
Hazel cleared her throat, and got up. "It's just down the hall." She said, grabbing his warm arm.
-
Landon sighed and started walking down the hall she had pointed to. "How long am I staying here?" He knew it was a dumb question and he knew the answer already.
-
She didn't want to answer, but she felt obliged to. "I'd say as long as I want you to." When they got the master bedroom, she let his arm go as she let him sit down.
-
Landon slowly sat down on the edge of the bed. "Why? I'm not that interesting.." He muttered.
-
(Gtg for the night bai)
"I have my reasons, Landon. Now, just don't touch anything while I'm gone, or else." She said simply, before locking the door and window, and walking out. Carmen was most likely at her house- Well, more like masion. She grabbed her board from the entry way, and started to the streets. -

Landon sighed. Normally, he would have disobeyed her rules just to make her angry, but he was too sleepy. Instead, he turned the light off and curled up under the covers. It wasn't long until he fell into a deep asleep. -
Carmen narrowed her eyes at Hazel. "Your pathetic pet wants a jacket? And you're getting it for him!?" Hazel scoffed, pacing in front of her. "I don't usually leave mine in dread, or despair, unlike yours." She spat. It was never wise to argue with her, but her being Hazel's sister, was a bit different. "Whatever, Carmen." She muttered before slipping her glass like stick into the back of her pocket, and hurried out of the house. Hazel's house was at least a couple of miles away, but it didn't take as long as she thought. She quietly set the board down and went down the hall to her bedroom where Landon layed. She unlocked the door slowly, and whispered, "Landon? Wake up."
-
Landon woke up slowly and looked up at the girl, blinking. Then everything came back to him, and he sat up slowly, rubbing his eyes. "What is it?" He stretched for a minute, still a bit sleepy.
-
"I just need to know where Carmen.. Took you. Do you remember where it was? I'm sure that's where she dropped your jacket." She slipped a hand in her back pocket and produced the stick, reciting a Latin spell in her head.
-
Landon bit his lip, thinking. "It was on the beach. Right where the sidewalk from town connected to the sand. Then she walked up to me and all this s--- happened.." Landon quickly regretted cursing. His father always punished whenever he accidently cursed. "Sorry." He said quickly.
-
She frowned looking past him, through the window. "I believe I know where that is. I'll see you in a few, Landon. Once again, don't touch anything." She said before waving the stick around, chanting in Latin, making the milky looking portal.
-
Landon curled up into a small ball under the covers and sighed. This was much nicer then spending the night with his drunk father, but he didn't know how long it would be until he got used to it. Landon closed his eyes but was unable to fall back asleep.
-
She waved the stele (I'm calling the wand/stick thingy that based off the mortal instruments series :I), closing the portal. It was a good thing that it was night time in the human world since hadn't applied the runes of protection. She sighed, shoving the stele into her back pocket, and walked along the shore.
-
Landon sat there for what felt like hours, but it was most likely only minutes, staring off into space. There was nothing better for him to do but sit there and wait for something to happen.
