"LOOK! BEHIND US!!!!" Skylar yells.

Gabriella looks and says "RUN! DON'T LOOK JUST RUN!" Annabeth listens and picks up the pace. Gabriella says "where should we hide?!"

"There!" Skylar points to a corner.

They run and jump into the corner. Gabriella says "it's coming!" Annabeth says "I don't want to look someone tell me what it is!"

"What was that Gabby?" Skylar likes Gabby a lot more then she used to.

Gabby says "I don't know what they're called. I just know they're dangerous. I've been here for a long time and they killed my brother. Tell Annabeth because if I talk about them any longer I'll cry."

Skylar tells Annabeth about it but whispers it so Gabby doesn't cry. "Don't cry Gabby." Skylar gives Gabby a huge hug.

"Hey! I have a joke! So a duck walks into a restaurant, and orders a steak when the person came to give him his check the duck says put it on my bill. You get it?" Skylar says.

Annabeth says "we need to build a shelter." Gabby says "I've got some supplies. Skylar, is the thing still there?"

She looks but sees nothing "nope!" she says.

"Did the joke make you laugh Gabby?" Skylar asks.

Gabby brings them to her sight. She says "once we build something we'll have some food." They take a lot of long sticks and lean them against a wall so they all fit inside. They cover it with some blankets and still have a couple extras. Annabeth says "so we were promised food?" Gabby laughs and gives everyone food.

"Hey Gabby. Can I talk to you for a sec?" Skylar asks.

Gabby says "sure." The two of them walk outside of the fortress.

"It's important. Annabeth can hear it too." Skylar said.
