Emily drove home, as usual from another day of complaining customers, rude co-workers, and the familiar smell of popcorn. As she drove into the drive way, the thought of her kids alone teared her heart once more. She sighed grabbing her bag, and closed the door to her car. -
Neko Jimmy NewbieNeko was awoken from a high branch in a tree by the loud sound of a car door being slammed.He looked down from his leafy nest to see a young lady,his curiousity taking over him.He carefully jumped down and sprinted to the young lady's leg.Neko pawed her leg.

She looked down to find a strange cat by her. "Lost cat, eh? I guess you could stay the night until we find your owner." She said opening the door. Her eldest child came running up to her. "Mommy!" She sqealed, her light blonde hair loose, and a stuffed animal in one hand. She closed the door behind her and smiled.

The little boy, Matthew, no older than a one year old, sat on the floor playing alphabet blocks. His hair was the exact color of his mothers, brown with red highlights. Her daughter, on other hand, looked more like her father. She laughed as she climbed the couch to get a better look of the cat.

Emily set her bag down by the couch and immediately went to the kitchen to prepare dinner for her kids. Her little girl, Heather, grabbed the cats ear and tried biting it. Emily got out two Gerber Graduate jars, one larger for Heather since she was older. Meanwhile, Matthew started to cry. Emily sighed and took him to his bedroom for a diaper change. -
Neko Jimmy NewbieNeko couldn't help but hiss.He pawed at Heather's face,and tok off running.He hid under a chair,and Neko groomed himself.He curled up,covering the half-bitten ear.

Heather squealed out in pain, and started crying. Emily sighed and started rushing with Matthew. Soon Matthew was wailing louder than before. She walked back to the living room, caressing the boy in her arms. "Why me...?" She mumbled. -
Neko Jimmy NewbieNeko ran out,attempting to help Emily and her children.Neko ran up to Heather,licking her scratch,trying to help.He ran up to Emily,and pounced up,trying to show to put Matthew down so he could try to make him stop crying.
