Chris waved his hand in the air. "She has a certain feeding schedule anyways. And I'm actually looking forward to seeing the garden." He caught the clothes and looked at the locked zipper. "Care to let me dress unattended?"
-
"Does she, now? I'm sure someone would be able to pick it up, but if you insist.." Ace sighed under his breath in relief. He didn't really like small mammals. At all. Maybe dogs; They were good for hunting. But not cats. "That's good. And, yes, one moment." He took out a key, unlocked the lock that held all three zippers together, and stepped outside. "I'll get something ready by the time you get out."
-
Chris nodded, and ran his fingers through his hair with the hand that didn't have the clothes. Once he stepped out, he noted the nice weather. Mostly clear sky's and a cool temperature. He walked to the right of the tent, trying to find a spot that wouldn't have a good view of him. After a moment of searching, he found an area with large, thick bushes. He set the new clothes on an old tree stump, and started shucking off his old clothes.
-
Ace stretched himself out, yawning. He, too, had old clothes on. Almost angrily, he ducked into the tent and undressed and redressed within a matter of seconds. He didn't like changing at all, but if he didn't, he'd be wearing dirty clothes. That idea didn't exactly appeal to him. Once he finished getting dressed, he went to a different bag and pulled out a sheet to set the food on. He had brought along some fruits, meat, and bread. Just something small to hold them over before they got to the castle. He yawned to himself, sighing. He didn't know if Chris would like him.. He had to try his best, though.

Chris considered running away. He was far enough were he could simply sprint off, maybe find his castle. As he pulled on his shirt, he scanned his surroundings. He shook his head at the silly thought. Ace would surely find him with the horse. After pulling on his shoes, he started walking back in the direction of the tent.
-
By now, Ace had finished setting up. For a moment, he wondered why it was taking Chris so long to come back from the clearing. A part of him wondered if he had run away. The thought upset him; Not only would that mean he'd failed, but Chris would probably never speak to him again and get Ace into trouble with his family. Neither ideas were things he took lightly. Just as he was thinking about getting up and checking, he heard soft footsteps coming from one of the sides next to the tent. Sighing in slight relief, he squirmed a bit on his spot on the sheet, playing with the soft fabric as the footsteps got louder.

-
Chris came in the tent, pulling the flap back, and sat in front Ace. "So, what now?" He eyed the other boy, almost suspiciously. He did somewhat trust Ace, since he hadn't tried anything yet, but Chris still kept his guard.
-
"What now? I haven't thought about that.." Ace looked up at Chris, a smile playing on his lips. "Of course, there's the fact that we should eat and set out as soon as possible, but I haven't actually thought about what we're going to do." He sighed, leaning back. "I guess.. Just eat up. I know it's not much, but at least it's something for a good snack until we can get some real food."

Chris looked around the tent, mumbling a, "Mhm, okay." And the speaking up, "I actually am pretty hungry. So, what did you bring?" His stomach gave him a that little gurgle of noise that may, or may not have been that audible. -
(just making sure owo)
Ace smiled at him, a sincere smile. "Nothing excisitng.. Some fruit, meat, and bread. It's all pretty good, though, I always eat them when walking around the castle." He laid himself on the blanket, sighing. "Eat as much as you want, I'll eat what's left. I ate a lot last night, so.."
