"Are you okay Hope?". Vanessa sat next to Hope and looked at him. I unfroze the boy and he ran without saying a word.

Hope nodded "yeah, i just don't use my abilitys much"

"Isn't that why you joined this school, to practice your magic and skills?".

He nodded "sorta"

"What do you mean?". Vanessa was condused.

He looked away "i came here to get away from the humans i lived with"

"Why? Were they mean? Annoying?". I looked at him.

He looked away and lifter up his sleeve, showing his arm was completely covered in burns

Vanessa looked in shock. "Oh my gosh. Did you do that to yourself?". Vanessa felt bad. Her mood changes her eye color, so her eye color is currently red. Red mean she feels bad about something or someone.

"The people you were living with did it?". She felt so bad. How could they be so mean and cruel.
