Lightning felt the clouds of chaos attacking her but she didnt fight back. She was surrounded in a ball of chaos by the time blade got there

Blade rushed forward. "Lightning! Lightning say something!"

Jinx ran toward Lighting and jumped in Chaos.

Blade quickly pulled Jinx out. "Are you insane! Me and you are the only ones who can kill the monster and you're trying to die for this wimpy soldier! Let her die, it's her duty."

Jinx growled. "She's my friend like you. I won't watch her die."

"And I won't watch you die. You flunked the chaos part of initiation, the only reason your in the field is because one, you are a shape-shifter, and two, under my supervision."

JInx rolled her eyes.

lightning pulled herself in to a ball, ignoring the pain as the chaos tore at her soul she closed her eyes ' why was I chosen to fight this battle' she thought

Blade looked at Jinx. "You must really care for her. Remember, get the spear, kill the monster, don't grieve me, just go." He pulled out a small device and shot it at Jinx's feet. The became bonded with a plasma rope, unbreakable unless by a plasma specialist. He turned and dove into the chaos, tossing out Lightning and sacrificing himself. "GO! DON'T LOOK BACK, KEEP RUNNING!"

Jinx blinked back shock and despite orders followed.

"Jinx, don't be an idiot, go run! Now! You have to repay me for being alive and this is it, let me die! Pay me back! RUN!"

"Never." she growled grabbing Lighting and Blade and rushed out of there.

The chaos shot across Blade's skin and hit Jinx. "You have to run, you are the only shape-shifter left, I'm only half shifter, the other, is chaos lord, you have to run unless you want me to kill you, I can't control it, run, please."
