Jinx started to walk up the steps when she saw a boy walking toward her.

Whiplash Newbie"Hey, you new here?" Cody started jogging over.

"Yeah." Jinx stared at him.

Whiplash Newbie"I'm Cody, I play on almost every sports team here. What's your name?" he extended his hand.

"Jinx." she said making sure her long sleeves stayed down.

Whiplash Newbie"There is a victory party starting soon if you want to come.Should I show you to the dorms?"

"Sure." Jinx looked down at her feet.

Whiplash Newbie"Alright,follow me." Cody headed towards the dorm buildings.

Jinx followed Cody. "So what is this school like?" she asked him her eyes still facing downward.

Whiplash Newbie"It's, well, it has good athletics and academics but, it is kinda bland.Well here is the dorm registration. Hey, there are no girls dorms left! Well, I wonder were you will go. You could stay with me because I have no roomies, but I'm not sure if that is the best choice, maybe you can look for someone who will let you in but most of these rooms are full."

"I'll go with you. I get nervous around people." Jinx said.

Whiplash Newbie"Ok, well it just so happens I have a spare key." Cody tossed it to her. "Room 24, go ahead and put your stuff were you want, I have the far room and a small gym next to it, there is a large bedroom and another bathroom for you. I guess I will see you at the party if you come. Bye." he ran off.

"Thanks!" Jinx called after Cody. She walked to the dorm and unlocked the door. She unpacked her bags and ready for the party.

Whiplash NewbieCody walked into the gym where the party was just beginning. He told his friend to run to all the dorms, knock and invite them to the victory party.

Jinx pulled out a black T-shirt and ripped blue jeans. She put then on as she heard a knock on the door. (shirt is long sleeved)
