Sitting, if it could be called that, around the table, Leane smiled politely as her father moved around behind her. She still hadn't gotten the hang of moving, but she felt confident enough to ditch the wheelchair. "Do you want anything to drink? Some tea or coffee?" He asked.
"Nothing, thank you." Leane replied.
Otto shrugged and poured himself a drink, sitting opposite his daughter. They didn't say anything, as neither had anything to say, until Leane couldn't hold herself in any more. "So, I'm a...a lamia? My friends just assumed I was a naga, but I suppose naga have four arms."
"Yea. A true blooded lamia. A rare and noble breed. We are one of the youngest races compared to the angels and demons, but our exploits are far more numerous, made all the sweeter by our lack of magic. You should be proud of your heritage."
"So why did mum...why did we leave?" Leane asked.
Her father sighed, "There's something you need to understand, Leane. Take a second to calm yourself, and I will continue." -
Angela sat outside knowing she shouldn't interfere. Angela begab singing 'Miss. Invisible'. Questiins floated around in Angela's mind. 'Why did they leave me? I know I've been her before? Can't you at least give me a hint where you are?' Angela thought. She sighed in the middle of the song. She looked up at the sky and closed her eyes.
