Summoning her strength, Leane pushed herself forward. The wood creaked as she released it, and she was aware of a slight rattling from behind her. It did her no good to waste time being scared, she needed to know the truth. The book Angel had given her weighed on her lap as she wheeled her way to the door.
A quick knock, three times, and then she waited, throwing herself to the weight in her gut. The noises inside stopped. There were no footsteps that lead to the door, but merely a heavy sliding, and then it was open.
The lamia within was old, nearly pushing on forty Leane would guess. His hair had just the tinge of grey in it, barely noticeable through its silver colouring. "Hello?" He said.
Leane didn't know what to say. "Um, hey. Can we talk for a minute? I think...I think you might be my dad." -
"hello sir I'm angela and my friend here is leane" angela said smiling.

The man looked at the two, first in confusion, but then with a growing sense of comprehension. Poking his head out the door and looking down the street, the man gestured them inside. "Come in. Don't wait out on the street."
As he turned, Leane could see that his tail ended in a rattle much like hers, but his scales were a bright green instead. Nodding at her friend, Leane wheeled herself into the building.
"So who is your friend here...Leane, is it? Is that what your mother went with?" The man asked.
"Yea. Yes."
"A fine greek name. Who's your friend, Leane? What's her story?" -
Fang changed in to a cat and slipped in after Angela

Midnight flew down from the clouds and Sat in a tree next to the window.

angela's hair covered her eyes. her eye color changed to black. "i'm going to see what else i remember from this kingdom" angela said leaving. Angela didn't wanted to be here any longer. Her parents been gone since the day she was born.

Fang jumped on to a table

Leane watched as Angel rudely skipped out the door. "I'm sorry. She never knew her parents. I think she's uncomfortable being around here."
Her dad simply shrugged, "I understand," he said, before moving on, "Why are you in a wheelchair? Are you injured, is there anything I can do to help? I think there's a cat around here I can cook up."
"I'm...I'm fine, I just don't know how to use...this thing." Leane said, pointing at her tail. "Are you really my dad? I can't be sure, I don't remember much about this place." -
Midnight did some fire magic to entertain herself.

Fang glared at him "im not a cat! Cant any one tell the difference between a ordinary and retarded house cat and a exotic, intelligence werecat?"

angela walked to the portal. She entered the portal. Angela sighed. "where the hell did you guys go?" angela whispered.

Aura flew around her island and sent a bird made of ice to Angela

"Oh, we lamia can. You just both taste the same is the problem." Leane's dad replied.
Leane swallowed deeply. Her tail was shaking without her control, and she wasn't sure how to stop it. "Dad, can we just...talk for a minute? I mean, I don't know anything about you, what's even your name?"
There was a moment of silence, before Leane's dad said, "Otondus. But I understand that won't be easy to pronounce with your human upbringing. So you can call me Otto." There was more silence. "You're right. We should just talk. All of us should. Come on, I'll introduce you to your siblings." -
Fang jumped off the table "wsit...you have eaten a werecat? !?" She looked horrified

Midnight jumped out of the tree and began to walk into the woods.
